- I exhibited the colander/bowl set at the Washington DC Green Festival (10-11 October 2009). Thanks to all who stopped by my booth and kindly offered me suggestions as to how to make a better product. I have many leads to follow and will be working hard these next few months to see if I can finally get the set made.
- I reached the finals of a competition where the sponsor was looking to help bring an eco-friendly product to their stores. Reaching the finals was further validation that this product is worth my time and effort to try to bring it to market.
- I'm still waiting to hear the final result of a contest sponsored by AS SEEN ON TV. I was told I was a finalist back in July, but so far, no winner has been announced. I think the colander/bowl set would make a great infomercial!

The Green Summit, in Phoenix (5-6 September 2008), was a great success. I spoke with over 200 people and the response to the colander/bowl set was overwhelmingly positive. Some people wanted to buy the set, while others inquired as to the store(s) that carried it. Here are a few pictures from the two-day expo (click for larger images).
- My prototypes were made by Independent Custom Metalworks. They look great!
