The water-saving colander/bowl set is a simple kitchen utensil that allows you to wash produce with a minimal amount of water.  An indicator line on the interior of the bowl facilitates water conservation by showing the user the maximum amount of water the colander / bowl set may hold – you don’t want water spilling over the rim of the bowl when the colander is placed within it.  You don’t always have to fill the bowl to the indicator line; use the amount of water you feel is necessary to properly wash your food.
